The European Nuclear Safety Training and Tutoring Consortium (ENSTTI, ENEA, TECNATOM, FANC, IRSN, SURO, LEU, TÜV Nord, SSTC NRS) got Project MC3.01 / 14 from the European Commission, funded under the Instrument for Cooperation in Nuclear Safety, INSC;
TRAINING AND TUTORING FOR EXPERTS OF THE NRAS AND THEIR TSOS FOR DEVELOPING OR STRENGTHENING THEIR REGULATORY AND TECHNICAL CAPABILITIES.
This project has led Tecnatom to participate in several training courses for experts in different countries (France, South Africa, Mexico, Brazil) and last week, experts from DSEF successfully organized the first international course for experts of Nuclear Regulatory Organizations and TSOs , from the beneficiary countries, at the headquarters of San Sebastian de los Reyes de Tecantom.
From April 23 to 27, the ENSTTI course focused on the preparation and response to nuclear and radiological emergencies, EP & R and its aspects of regulation and inspection, has been successfully organized in Tecnatom. The students came from the regulatory agencies and TSOs of South Africa, Ghana, Japan, Brazil, Malaysia and Jordan. The lecturers were Axelle Deleu from Bel V (Belgium), Svitlana Chupryna from SSTC NRS from Ukraine, and from Spain, L.E. Herranz de Ciemat, A. Mozas, J.M. M. Calvarro and J.P. García Cadierno of the Regulatory Authority, CSN, and by Tecnatom, Fernando Garrote and Rafael J. Caro, who directed the course.
It is necessary to thank all the speakers for their valuable lectures and visits, the experts from distant countries for their assistance and contributions, the coordination and support of ENSTTI, and the EC funding to support this powerful tool to increase security. Nuclear globally. We also need to thank the Spanish Nuclear Safety Council, CSN, for having Tecnatom as a Technical Support Organization for Nuclear Training and the CEIDEN Nuclear R & D Platform for trusting in Tecnatom for the coordination of Spain's contributions to this initiative.
