Digital Transformation in Nuclear Training

There are two main reasons to give special relevance to the current digital transformation of training:

· First, the speed of this transformation.

. Second, because the digital transformation in which we are now immersed has cultural character.

The first step on the way towards digital transformation is not a question of doing the same thing while supported by new information and communication technology. It is necessary to do things using new methods because the whole environment in which we move is already transforming.

Tecnatom has performed an in-depth reflection of their training model, which they have used as the base for the SOLeS training-learning model, derived from scientific and technological advances.

The current professional environment, coupled with technological advances, demand new ways of learning and teaching. They need new skills: digital skills as tools necessary for knowledge building. We are moving in a Smart Planet, hyper-interconnected and technologically mediated.

The concept of collective intelligence based on technology involves not only a huge accumulation of data to produce information, but also a collaborative intelligence that will result in much more powerful and efficient knowledge management.

Research on how we learn is, at this moment, a growing field in which we can find facts such as learning based on collaborative work, validation or recognition of both formal and informal learning, open-source learning and micro-learning.

The challenge before us is to develop activities related to knowledge in an intelligent learning environment within a framework enclosed by the following four characteristics:

· Personalized system, adapted to the aims of the subjects, and with the capacity to “hook”.

· Collaborative system, based on teamwork, generated through professional networks and collaborative training environments.

· Contextualized system, very oriented to the proper performance of professionals integrated in their own work environment.

· Flexible and fluid system, which may arise at any time, in any place and through any device. A seamless system.

The challenge arises then in the creation of an enriched environment of intelligent learning, which is open and even more oriented to the development and improvement of performance, and developed around the idea of constructivist and social learning.

Innovative training systems aim to integrate different solutions into the same user experience, meeting the defined characteristics.
